Broads @ Seltzer
Our Story
At Broads at Seltzer, we take pride in crafting small-batch, all-natural soaps that soothe the skin and delight the senses.
The very first spark that led us to soap making came from the singer-songwriter Dar Williams. If you’ve ever been to one of her concerts, you already know the joy of “Dar Stories” — those funny, thoughtful, meandering tales she shares between songs.
One summer night at The Bryn Mawr Gazebo, Dar spoke about her thoughts on commercial soap, and something in us lit up.
That tiny spark grew into curiosity… then creativity… and eventually into the all-natural soaps we make today. One of our longest running soaps, Rise and Meet the Day, is our nod to Dar for whom we are forever grateful.

Our upcycled glass pieces give new life to bottles, transforming them into something both beautiful and functional.

We strive to offer products that are not only beautiful, but also tell a story of craftsmanship and conscious living.
